Meet Your Baker

Hello, sourdough lovers!

My name is Mikaila Hanold and Iโ€™m your baker. ๐Ÿ˜Š

I started baking sourdough at the height of the pandemic lockdown. After awhile, I started selling bread to family and friends. That soon expanded into the community and Sourdough to Go was created. Now, itโ€™s a way for me to help support my family!

When Iโ€™m not baking bread, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, crafting (mostly stitching and painting), playing games, and reading a good book. I am an enneagram 1, I love hedgehogs, and I ride a unicycle!

About the Bakery

On Saturdays at noon, the signup link for the following week goes live. Because I am a one-woman show and I have a large family and a busy life to manage, I only schedule one week ahead. If you ever have a special request (an event or trip, etc.) and would like to schedule ahead of time, feel free to reach out! I also accept standing weekly orders (e.g. I will add you to my schedule on the same day every week).

Original sourdough loaves are $8 each. Specialty (flavored) loaves are $10 each. When you buy 12 loaves, the 13th is free! Cash and Venmo accepted.

Bread is available for porch pickup after 10:30am on your requested day, unless otherwise specified. I am located near South Albany High School in Albany, OR. Address and payment details provided upon ordering.

Sourdough to Go operates under the Oregon Cottage Food Law and follows the requirements therein.
